2 for all 3 years
 
Question Number 2:
Of the operational cardiac catheter laboratories in your Trust, could you please indicate in average (i) how many days a week they are operational in the following calendar years: (ii) 2016; (iii) 2017; (iv) 2018
 
Answer To Question 2:
Lab1 was operational on average 5 days a week in all 3 years.
Lab 2 was operational an average of 5 days in 2016, 4 days in 2017 and 5 days in 2018

2017 – 1779 procedures performed
2018 – 1985 procedures performed.

PCI - 2016 – Average of 8 weeks, 2017 – Average of 9 weeks, 2018 – Average of 8 weeks

Unknown – We have multiple referral sites each with different waiting times.

1 day for all 3 years as the PCI patients are all day cases.

Could you please outline details on your Trust’s cardiac catheter laboratories (i) total number of staff; the (ii) the number and (iii) type of consultants; including (iv) their medical speciality in the following calendar years: (v) 2016; (vi) 2017; (vii) 2018
 
Answer To Question 16:
2016 – 7.37 WTE Nurses, 1 WTE Nursing Assistant, 3 x Interventional Consultant Cardiologists (one of which also performs pacing and complex devices), 1 x Consultant Cardiologist (diagnostic Angiography only), 1 x Consultant Cardiologist (Heat Failure, Pacing and Complex devices)
2017 – 8.2 WTE Nurses, 1 WTE Nursing Assistant, 3 x Interventional Consultant Cardiologists (one of which also performs pacing and complex devices), 1 x Consultant Cardiologist (diagnostic Angiography only), 1 x Consultant Cardiologist (Heat Failure, Pacing and Complex devices)
2018 – 7.9 WTE Nurses, 2 WTE Nursing Assistants, 0.91 WTE Cardiac Suite Manager, 3 x Interventional Consultant Cardiologists (one of which also performs pacing and complex devices), 1 x Consultant Cardiologist (diagnostic Angiography only), 2 x Consultant Cardiologist (Heat Failure, Pacing and Complex devices)
