Within your trust how many of the following intra-vitreal vials/implants have been used in the latest 4 months, if possible between May to August 2019;

Ranibizumab
Bevacizumab
Aflibercept
Fluocinolone
Dexamethasone
 
Answer To Question 1:
Please see the information below relating to these vials/implants.

Referring to:

Ranibizumab, this is also known as Lucentis
Bevacizumab, this is also known as Avastin
Aflibercept, this is also known as Eylea
Fluocinolone, this is also related to some skin creams so we have searched for Iluvien
Dexamethasone, we haven't included Dexamethasone on it's own as it is a steroid used in other treatments. We have used Maxidex and Dexafree

The following quantities have been issued:

AFLIBERCEPT = 2
BEVACIZUMAB = 26
BEVACIZUMAB (QUALASEPT) = 7
DEXAMETHASONE (DEXAFREE) = 375
DEXAMETHASONE (MAXIDEX) = 77
DEXAMETHASONE (MAXIDEX) PDPP = 1
RANIBIZUMAB (LUCENTIS) = 2

The following information gives the pack sizes for these intra-vitreal drugs/implants:

AFLIBERCEPT = 0.1 ml Vial
BEVACIZUMAB = 1 Vial Pack
BEVACIZUMAB (QUALASEPT) = 0.2 ml Pre-filled disposable device
DEXAMETHASONE (DEXAFREE) = 30 Unit Dose Pack
DEXAMETHASONE (MAXIDEX) = 5 ml or 10 ml Bottle
DEXAMETHASONE (MAXIDEX) PDPP = 10 ml TTO pack
RANIBIZUMAB (LUCENTIS) = 0.165 ml Pre-filled disposable device
