Request Summary: Foreign objects swallowed by under 10s
Request Category: Companies
|Question Number 1:|
I would like to know the amount of cases in A&E over the last year Jan 01 2019 - Dec 31st 2019, that have involved a person below the age of 10-years-old arriving in A&E at this trust due to having swallowed a foreign object. I would also like this information for the same request and timeframe for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
I would also like this data in a spreadsheet with cases broken down by date, location, age and gender, if possible. Also, if possible, what the object was that had been swallowed in each case.
|Answer To Question 1:|
Please see the breakdown of figures for the given time period. We cannot break the data down any further as it will not comply with IG guidelines. 8475 - FOI 5462 - Foreign Objects Swallowed.pdf
