What First Aid Training and Mental Health Training, if any, do you provide to your staff?
|Answer To Question 1:|
We do not provide any first aid centrally.
As a Trust, the mental health training which we provide is formal dementia training and education with regard to recognition, treatment and management of delirium. We provide Mental Capacity Act eLearning and classroom sessions which both cover deprivation of liberty. We have a dedicated Mental Health Liaison team employed by Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Trust, and part of their remit is to undertake mental health training within the hospital.

We provide in-house training by qualified and experienced staff.
Or service level agreement with the provider of liaison psychiatry services, AWP, has provision for education and training
