Request Summary: treatments of dermatological conditions
Request Category: Researcher
Question Number 1:
How many patients were treated in last 4 months by the Dermatology department with each of the following:
• Mycophenolate mefetil
• Ultraviolet light therapy
Answer To Question 1:
Unfortunately, we are unable to answer the majority of this question as we don't code by Drug name.
The number of individual patients treated with UV light therapy (both inpatients and outpatients combined) in the last 4 months is 69.
Question Number 2:
How many patients have been treated in the last 4 months for Atopic Dermatitis, and how many of these patients were under the age of 17?
Answer To Question 2:
There were less than 5 patients treated in the last 4 months for Atopic Dermatitis and less than 5 of these patients were aged under 17. We cannot be more precise due to the low numbers involved.
