"My career path first led me in 1964 into a profession as a medic within the NHS which occupied my time for over 16 years. Following an absence whilst bringing up my family, then a career change into Business Administration and Management occurred, when I obtained an MBA and subsequently a DBA degree.
Over the following years I was CEO of a Consultancy with global clients. Additionally I was a Director and Company Secretary of several Travel Retail companies.
Since early retirement I have served as a trustee of two registered charities, and subsequently the Founder/Chair of Trustees of an animal welfare registered charity from which I resigned earlier in 2018 but am retained as a Consultant.
I am a widow; have one son and four grandchildren ranging in age from 6 months to 12 years.
My interests include: My five beagles, following Tennis, Formula 1 motor racing, and reading."
