Dr Jennifer Lisle - graduated in medicine from University College London (UCLH) and after early years in NHS hospital medicine and abroad, specialised in public health. She has over twenty five years experience as an independent consultant in public health with particular interest in the health and wellbeing of the working population in both public and private sectors, participating in many initiatives concerned with health improvement.
Currently serving on the following SDH committees: Stroke Strategy steering group, Food & Nutrition steering group, Hospital Food Forum, Membership & Communications committee and as governor observer on the People & Culture committee.
Also, recently taking part in the NHS ‘Return to Work’ initiative in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, including working with trainees and interdisciplinary collaboration.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and of the UK Faculty of Public Health. She serves on the Education Committee of the Medical Council on Alcohol and is a former President of the Section of Occupational Medicine of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Dr Jennifer R Lisle was re-elected public governor for South Wiltshire Rural in 2018.
