Lucinda Herklots

Lucinda Herklots has been on the Council of Governors for five years, helping the Trust sustain its excellent standards of patient-centred care in the face of increasing financial challenges, holding the Trust Board to account and representing the interests of the Salisbury City constituency. She is currently the deputy lead governor.

Lucinda most recently worked as Diocesan Secretary for the Diocese of Salisbury and before that was an electronics engineer. She has over 35 years' of both business and charity managerial and governance experience at local, national and international level. She has lived in Salisbury since 1981 and is a member of Chapter and a volunteer steward at Salisbury Cathedral.

Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
