Following the derailment in Salisbury on Sunday night, 13 casualties were treated at Salisbury District Hospital. Four of these casualties were admitted. We are pleased to report that the patients who were being treated in the hospital following the derailment have now all been discharged, so we’re no longer treating anyone from the incident.
CEO Stacey Hunter at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said:
"I would like to thank all our colleagues who responded to this incident in a calm, professional and compassionate manner. We are all relieved that the outcome of the accident hasn't been more severe."
