Attending our Accident & Emergency Department

Our Accident & Emergency Department is currently very busy and we ask for your continued support to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. If you bring a friend or relative to A&E, please remain outside or in your car unless accompanying the patient is absolutely essential.

Our staff may ask you to leave if you are not an essential companion and they are unable to maintain a safe environment. Your support helps protect patients, staff and visitors.

Please only attend our A&E Department if you have a life-threatening illness or serious injury. If you need medical attention, please contact NHS 111 and they will direct you to the most appropriate service.
