Salisbury District Hospital is currently under intense pressure. We ask for your support as we work to improve the flow of patients through the hospital.
Please don’t attend A&E unless you have a life threatening illness or injury, so we can prioritise the most urgent or critical patients. We would also encourage the community to consider alternatives to A&E for minor illness or injury including the Salisbury Walk-In Centre, NHS 111 or your local pharmacy. If you must attend A&E, please be patient as staff will prioritise those with the most urgent and critical needs.
If you have friends or family waiting to be discharged please try to respond quickly to calls about their ongoing care at home or in another setting. Please don’t visit the hospital site unless strictly necessary. The hospital is open and patients should attend all appointments as normal unless directly contacted by the hospital.
