Improving the emotional wellbeing of older people in hospital
The Engage Programme is run by the Department of Clinical Psychology at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and is designed to support the psychological needs of older adults in hospital who often find the transition from home to hospital difficult. This may lead to problems such as anxiety and depression.
Engage uses specially trained psychology volunteers to help support the emotional wellbeing of patients during their stay in hospital.
|Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, the Engage volunteering programme is currently suspended. Please keep an eye on this webpage for further updates or you can email enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org|
