Salisbury Foundation Trust

Research

The department has a strong research ethos and is involved in several research projects, collaborating with OML, other NHS Trusts and universities. There are excellent links with the universities of Bournemouth, Southampton, Bath and Kings College London and from these universities we host MSc and PhD students, as well as Foundation Year 2 doctors employed on the Wessex Deanery Academic Foundation Programme.

The main research area of the department is in the field of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) but this also extends across other areas of mobility, rehabilitation and diagnostics.
