Requisitions are raised by Housekeeping electronically and sent through to Procurement who raises the PO’s. Consumables are managed locally by Housekeeping who issue the stock and records are kept by them.

How many staff are required to clean the hospital?

138 staff are currently employed

How are the staff monitored to ensure working hours are proactive.

Staff sign in and out via the Housekeeping office. Staff are monitored throughout the day by ward staff, Housekeeping Supervisors and spot checks are carried out periodically either by ward visits, PLACE audits or local audits
