Patients & Visitors

Visiting restrictions

Salisbury District Hospital is now fully open for visiting. Please see individual wards/departments for specific visiting times and further details.

Please note that as of 1st September, patients and visitors are only required to wear face masks in clinical settings within the hospital. Thank you for your cooperation.

Anyone with a COVID-19 positive test or showing symptoms of coronavirus (a new continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste) should not visit, even if these symptoms are mild or intermittent, due to the risk they pose to others.

Please continue to be kind and considerate to our staff. As always, we will be continually reviewing all our COVID-19 procedures and policies and may make changes in the future.

Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
