Yes - Remifentanil always available during 2022/23.
 
Question Number 2:
Whether the trust’s maternity department offered Entonox as a pain relief option during labour in 2022-23

o If the trust did offer Entonox as a pain relief option during labour in 2022-23, if at any point this was not available and, if so and if possible to calculate, approximately how many days this was not available as an option for

Yes - Entonox always available during 2022/23
 
Question Number 3:
Whether the trust’s maternity department offered TENS machines as a pain relief option during labour in 2022-23

o If the trust did offer TENS machines as a pain relief option during labour in 2022-23, if at any point this was not available and, if so and if possible to calculate, approximately how many days this was not available as an option for
 
Answer To Question 3:
No - but can support women who hire/buy their own.

Whether the trust’s maternity department offered diamorphine as a pain relief option during labour in 2022-23

o If the trust did offer diamorphine as a pain relief option during labour in 2022-23, if at any point this was not available and, if so and if possible to calculate, approximately how many days this was not available as an option for
 
Answer To Question 4:
Yes - when available. There is currently a National shortage, therefore, Pethidine is being used as an alternative.
