Answer To Question 1: 107.15 WTE (Whole Time Equivalent) Midwives - Bands 5,6,7 and 8. This includes clinical and non-clinical Midwives and externally funded LMNS/Regional Specialist Fixed Term posts.

Question Number 2: The number of FTE funded midwife posts for each maternity service at your trust which were vacant as of the start of August 2023 (excluding those on maternity or long term sick leave where sick leave has lasted for one month or longer)?

Answer To Question 2: 23.8 WTE

Question Number 3: The number of FTE funded midwife posts for each maternity service at your trust which were vacant as of 1st May 2023 (excluding those on maternity or long term sick leave where sick leave has lasted for one month or longer)?

Question Number 4: The date of the most recent Birthrate Plus study of midwifery staffing for each service within your trust?

Answer To Question 5: 98.75 WTE - not including specialist externally funded posts.
