Question Number 1: The subject of my request is outsourced radiology reporting via 'teleradiology' companies of CTs, X-rays, MRIs, PET-CT and any other diagnostic scans. So far in 2023 have you outsourced any scans to teleradiology providers for reporting? If so, which providers?

Answer To Question 1: Yes, Axon and TMC (MRI, CT, x-ray)

Question Number 2: Which company would you consider (by volume of scans or frequency used) your emergency/out of hours reporting provider(s)? (If more than one company, please outline the nature of how both companies are used (i.e., different hospitals, weekends and weekdays, different types of scans)).

Question Number 3: By the same measure as Q2, which would you consider your primary/main elective/non-emergency reporting provider(s)?

Question Number 4: For any providers not listed in Q's 2 and 3, please could you briefly describe what you utilise this provider for?

Answer To Question 4: N/A

Question Number 5: Please could you provide the contract end dates for any contracts you hold with the providers listed in the answers to the above questions? (If the contract is rolling or does not have a fixed end date, please could you confirm the notice period/terms of terminating the contract?)

Answer To Question 5: TMC – 09/05/2021 – 08/05/2024 – due to be extended to 08/07/2024 Axon – 04/01/2023 – 03/01/2024

Question Number 6: Are the Trust currently in an open tender exercise for any radiology reporting contracts/services? If so, what services are being reviewed (emergency/out of hours and/or elective/non-emergency)?

Answer To Question 6: Trust is in process of scoping tender for this area, so no final decision made on what is being reviewed.
