Question Number 1: The number of patients sent to an alternative provider because they exceeded the weight limit for MRI scans, CT scans or weighing scales within your hospital(s) in 2023.

Answer To Question 1: The Trust does not keep records of patients who are not scanned because they exceed our weight limits. The referrer takes responsibility for identifying an alternative service provider or alternative test. Numbers will be extremely small now as our MRI weight limit for example is now 250kg.

Answer To Question 5: The Trust would require the installation of a facility like a ‘weighbridge’ for people and that is not an easy installation
