| Answer To Question 1: Pathology service uses the Trust Courier service to collect samples from primary care. Microbiology use the DX service for send away work and Lab Med use taxis on occasion to transfer urgent referral samples. Histo use Fedex for outsourcing, but that is part of the outsourcing price and contract. Please see attached. | Answer To Question 2: Pharmacy have no courier contracts. Pharmacy use the Trust courier service to deliver to GP practices. Pharmacy used a courier called Same Day during 2021/22 and 2022/23 to deliver COVID antivirals. This was a company contracted to BSW to provide this service. Pharmacy also use the Taxi company contracted to the Trust to deliver/collect medicines. | |
