Question Number 1:
What advice does your hospital’s dermatology department issue to patients with eczema regarding the amount of moisturizer that should be applied to patients?

Please provide examples of the advice if the answers are affirmative, please attach any leaflets
 
Answer To Question 1:
We do not have specific leaflets that we give out.
For emollients we tell them to apply generously and to use more than they think they need.
 
Question Number 2:
What advice does our hospital’s dermatology department issue to patients with eczema regarding the amount of steroid cream/ointment that should be applied to patients?

Please provide examples of the advice if the answers are affirmative, please attach any leaflets
 
Answer To Question 2:
For steroids we tell them to use the finger tip units- 1 unit covers space of 2 hands, as per BAD guidelines.
