Question Number 1: For the past five years, please give a breakdown by year of; • The number of pregnant women who have disclosed that they are a victim of domestic abuse/flagged as victims of domestic abuse in your system (please also include the total number of pregnant patients each year for comparison)

Answer To Question 1: 2020 55 2021 47 2022 48 2023 81 2024 40 women booked until November 24

Question Number 2: • Number of women who disclosed DA who experienced infection, premature birth, miscarriage, injury or death [risks listed as per the video on this NHS page https://www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/support/domestic-abuse-in-pregnancy/]

Answer To Question 2: Would take over the 18 hours to answer as would need to be a manual data gathering exercise.

Question Number 3: • For how many women it has not been possible to undertake in private (aka whilst she is alone) the routine initial enquiry to decipher whether she is a victim

Answer To Question 3: Question is asked at 'Booking' and at 28 weeks - but not routinely recorded if undertook in private.
