Question Number 1: This is a freedom of information request. Please could you provide the following information. The most recent materials/guidelines for midwives, obstetricians [and GPs if you hold it] about domestic abuse and pregnancy which staff are meant to follow when identifying and supporting a pregnant woman in their care who is a potential victim of domestic abuse.

Question Number 2: What training you give for using the DASH risk assessment (or equivalent risk assessment).

Answer To Question 2: The trust provides 3.5 hours training and the aims include: 1. Understanding your role in identifying & responding to DA (including DASH) 2. To increase confidence in assessing risk with DA victims 3. To understand referral pathways for victims & how victims can be assisted further, including the role of MARAC 4. To provide you with a good level of knowledge about DA dynamics

Question Number 3: What training your staff receive on coercive control and behaviour.

Answer To Question 3: The above training described in Q2 includes Controlling & Coercive Behaviour and what to look out for in a pregnant persons partner. They are provided with the MARAC toolkit, list of support services. Midwives have access to additional training through the safeguarding vulnerable peoples partnership: Wiltshire Safeguarding Vulnerable People Partnership (SVPP) - Courses (wiltshiresvpp.org.uk)

Question Number 4: If you have them, guidelines offered on what to look for in a pregnant person's partner as to whether they might be a domestic abuse perpetrator.
