Question Number 1: I am looking for policy information about second hand smoke exposure to staff undertaking home visits. Could you provide me with the latest smoke free policy (pdf) for your organisation. Could you also provide some additional details about any documented ongoing plans to update the current policy

Answer To Question 1: Please see attached. Section 3 Scope - For staff, the rules that govern smoking and smoking at work are complex in a community setting. Staff who work out in the community and visit patients in their own homes should always seek the advice of their manager and the wishes of the patient. Clarification and advice can be obtained from the health and safety team The next anticipated renewal of the policy is not before Dec 24.
