Question Number 1:
This is a Freedom of Information request in relation to NHS Adult Audiology services.

For your organisation, please could you confirm:

The monthly “block” amount of funds provided by the ICB to deliver these types of services?
 
Answer To Question 1:
Audiology services are split between Fixed and Variable payment based on the application of the Aligned Payment Incentive under the NHS Payment Scheme 2023-25 guidance.
The Fixed monthly value of funds provided by all commissioners is £45,000 per month.

The Trust provide audiology services at Salisbury District Hospital and Shaftesbury War Memorial Hospital.
 
Question Number 7:
The days and operating hours in these sites during which these services are provided?
 
Answer To Question 7:
Audiology from Salisbury District Hospital operates from 0800-1800 Monday-Friday. We occasionally run overtime clinics on weekends which typically run from 0900-1400 or sometimes later (1600).

Shaftesbury War Memorial Hospital operates from 0900-1700 every other Monday and every other Wednesday. We do not run overtime clinics at Shaftesbury.

Patients can access after care by calling or emailing the department. They are occasionally booked in for planned aftercare at treatment or assessment.
