Question Number 1: I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please could you provide the below information: What was the Trust’s total insourcing spending for the last three financial years (ending March)? Insourcing is a term used to describe the provision of medical specialty, consultant-led surgical or clinical services, which are deployed to a participating authority within existing structures to utilise spare, out-of-hours capacity, typically at weekends and evenings, within a trust. Insourcing is not the deployment of temporary workers or the use of temporary staffing agencies to support with capacity and demand planning, and the supply or management of temporary workers into a trust. | |
