Question Number 1: Hope you are well. I am writing to request information on new drugs that have been approved by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence but have not been made available within your trust. With that in mind I would like to request the following information. I would like a list of all drugs currently under consideration for use within the trust

Answer To Question 1: Pharmacy response: Any new drug included in NICE guidance published in the last 6 months and not already listed on the Formulary. Enquirer can access the BSW Formulary online https://bswformulary.nhs.uk/

Question Number 2: I would like to know within the last year how many drugs have been approved by NICE but rejected for use in your trust. If this is applicable I would like a list of all drugs rejected.

Answer To Question 2: Pharmacy response: Not aware of any drugs that have been rejected. It is more likely that our Trust does not provide a service that involves prescribing of the new drug.

Question Number 3: I would like to know how much the Trust has spent on drugs for the years 2024, 2023, 2022

Answer To Question 3: This information can be found in the Trust's annual accounts under the Operating Expenses published within its Annual Report for each year. These can be found at the following: www.salisbury.nhs.uk/about-us/trust-reports-and-reviews/

Question Number 4: I would like to know how much the Trust has received from NHS England specifically to purchase drugs for 2024, 2023, 2022.
