Question Number 1: I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from your organisation. Please may you provide me with an answer to the following: Existing aseptic compounding services Does your Trust provide in-house aseptic compounding services? If yes: a. What type of aseptic products are prepared in-house (e.g. chemotherapy, SACT, parenteral nutrition, CIVAS, antibiotics)? b. How many aseptic units does your Trust operate? c. Please confirm whether each aseptic unit operated by your trust is on-site or off-site. If off-site, please specify the location.

Answer To Question 1: 1. Yes we do provide in-house aseptic compounding services. a) Chemotherapy, SACTs, CIVAS b) 1 c) On site

Question Number 2: Do you outsource any aseptic compounding services to external providers (either NHS Trusts or industry providers)? If yes: a. To which organisations do you outsource aseptic compounding services? b. What type of aseptic products are outsourced to these organisations (e.g. chemotherapy, SACT, parenteral nutrition, CIVAS, antibiotics)? c. When are these contracts due to run until? d. What is the value of each of these contracts per annum?

Answer To Question 2: 2. Yes a) BathASU, ITH, Quantum b) SACTSs, PN, CIVAS, antibiotics c) Chemotherapy: 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2027; PN 15 January 2017 to 14 January 2026 d) Chemotherapy £80261, PN £61,226

Question Number 3: Future plans for aseptic compounding services Does your Trust have plans to expand or upgrade its existing aseptic compounding facilities? If yes, please provide details.

Answer To Question 3: No

Question Number 4: Are there existing or planned strategic partnerships or collaborations (with other NHS Trusts or industry providers) to expand or enhance aseptic services?
