Joanna Bennett was elected Governor in June 2024. She has worked in Nursing and Midwifery since 1975 both in the NHS, Private Sector and 6 years in Military nursing. She has navigated several changes in various sectors and broadened her depth of knowledge and situations within each sector. Having worked abroad and also in the Embassy of Beijing, she has a wealth and depth of knowledge across many aspects of providing care for the community. She is now recently retired, and so feels well able to be a Governor whilst new challenges are having to be met within the NHS.
