Matthew Swift is married with three children. He has an honours degree in Business Management and Environment Science and worked in Banking and Investment Banking for many years. Matthew has run multiple self-started companies, working as a consultant to improve large and small projects and companies.
He is also an accredited teacher after being awarded a post graduate certificate in education and has worked in several local schools in North Dorset.
As a full-time carer, he is keen to ensure that the Hospital can support and enhance the lives of disabled and disadvantaged residents that often rely upon it.
Outside interests include, writing, telescopes and anything that is considered ‘nerdy’.
