The department provides audiology and hearing therapy services for patients of all ages. We test hearing and balance and provide treatment and/or hearing aids where appropriate.
By car: enter hospital at Entrance A. Park in car parks 2, 3 or 8.
By bus: Alight at Main entrance (third stop).
Enter hospital at Main Entrance. The Audiology/ENT department is located on the left past the reception desk. From car park 8 proceed via Springs Entrance (level 2) and take stairs or lift to level 3 and then go towards Main Entrance reception desk.
The Audiology Department carries out assessment and rehabilitation of hearing and balance problems as well as looking after patients who use NHS hearing aids. We are closely associated with the Ear Nose & Throat Department and some of our patients come to us via the ENT consultants.
We do provide some clinics in the community, however these can get booked quickly. Please ask the department's clerical officer for availability at any of the current clinics.
