Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator (DIEP)

DIEP stands for Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator Flaps and it is the name given to the process of moving a piece of skin and fat from the abdomen and using it to rebuild the breast once the original breast tissue has been removed.
