Lymphoma Symptoms

As lymphoma can be found in different areas of the body, symptoms range greatly.

Depending where the lymphoma develops, will affect the symptoms which occur. Symptoms of lymphoma may include:

  • Painless swelling in the lymph nodes (found in the neck, armpits and groin)
  • High temperatures
  • Sweating, in particular at night
  • Repeated infections
  • Unexplained bruising and/or bleeding
  • Severe tiredness
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Itchiness over your body
  • Coughing and/or feeling breathless
  • Indigestion and/or issues swallowing.

People with lymphoma will not experience all of the above, certain symptoms will occur depending where the lymphoma is located in the body. Therefore, if you notice any of the above symptoms or have any concerns, you should speak to your GP. They will be able to arrange a blood test or will refer you to the haematological specialists at the hospital for further testing, if required.
