Wellbeing Zone

  • Mood boosting fiction – 52 nationally recognised books which include novels, poetry, and self-help books.
  • Uplifting fiction – 10 specially selected titles by NHS staff for NHS staff which include poetry and fiction.
  • Wellbeing and self-help books – including titles on mindfulness, anxiety, resilience, and stress management.
  • Quiet space –a quiet space and comfy chairs to get away from a busy ward or office.
  • Working Stress app – this is available to all clinical staff and has been designed to help them manage stress and avoid burnout.
  • Working Stress game –provides an opportunity to come together as a team and have fun, whilst opening up difficult conversations about stress and mental health, and providing tools for how to approach situations differently. This can be played as a board game or online via Teams using online platform. Full instructions are provided.
  • Educational and team building games – including the Communication, Teams That Care, and Removing Barriers games.
