About Us

Our expert staff are dedicated to achieving the best result for each patient. Our fleet of state-of-the-art lasers sit within a modern, purpose-built premises, enabling us to treat many conditions. We accept both NHS and private patients and 100% of Salisbury Laser Clinic's income is invested back into the NHS.

Ms Nola Lloyd MB ChB FRCS (Plast) MSc DTM&H. - Clinical Lead & Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Nola graduated with awards from Edinburgh University medical school in 2007 and has trained in Scotland, London and the Southwest of England. She holds an MSc in Tropical Medicine and International Health and a certificate in Medical Education. Grant awarded International Fellowships in Cape Town and Paris. She is involved in ongoing international aid work in rural Nepal. She has specialist interests in Burns, Laser, Upper and Lower limb reconstruction including microsurgical techniques. She has published and presented at national and international conferences. She is also the junior doctor educational lead in the plastics department and the trauma lead for Salisbury Hospital Trauma Unit.


 

 

 

 

Mr Eunan Tiernan MB BCh BAO BA FRCSI FRCS(Plast) - Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Eunan is a vastly experienced plastics and burns surgeon who has been working at the Laser Clinic since 2010. He mainly treats our NHS burn scar patients but has also carried out hundreds of private treatments. At home, he is a family man with a keen passion for the oval ball (rugby) and is well known for his dulcet-toned banter.


 

 

Sathish Jayagopal MBBS, MRCS (Ed) - Plastic Surgeon

Sathish is a Specialty Doctor in Plastic Surgery with an interest in skin cancer surgery and laser treatments. He has been employed at Salisbury District Hospital since 2007 and has been providing services in the laser department for more than 8 years. He provides laser treatment for scars, vascular lesions and birthmarks. When he is not working, he enjoys photography and cooking international cuisine.


 

 

Dr Mark Brewin PhD Msc BSc (Hons) DipIPEM - Operational Lead & Consultant Clinical Scientist

Mark is a registered clinical scientist with a keen interest in lasers and burns scars. He has been employed at Salisbury District Hospital since 2013 as a consultant clinical scientist within the Salisbury Laser Clinic and as R&D lead in the Burns Unit. Mark plays an active role in both the development and improvement of the laser service, as well as encouraging active research in burns and plastics. He is a certificated Laser Protection Adviser. When he is not at work, he enjoys cricket, crosswords and cooking, as well as collecting reggae music.


 

Vicky Armstrong - Healthcare Support Worker

Vicky started working at Salisbury NHS in 1999. She has worked on the Trauma and Orthopaedic Wards, Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit and the Fertility Centre. She recently joined the Laser Clinic in 2024.  When not at work she enjoys cake making, travelling and is forever busy with an ever growing family.

Silvia Aranha - Staff Nurse

Silvia completed her Nursing Degree (2012) and Wound and Skin Ulcers Management Post Graduation (2013) in Portugal.  
She has been working in the NHS since June 2013 and her nursing background includes Trauma and Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Burns and joined the laser clinic in September 2024.

She can also provide consultations in Portuguese and English. When se is not at work she likes baking, travel and loves dogs and spending time with her family.

 

Dorota (Dotty) Bulajewska - Laser Nurse Specialist

Dorota has degrees in Nursing, Physiotherapy and Medical Rescue. She has been working in the NHS since 2008. Dorota pursued her career in critical care nursing to a postgraduate level. She joined the Salisbury Laser Clinic in April 2022. She can carry out consultations in Polish or English. Outside of work, she likes botanics and exploring new places.


 

 

Helen Whatsley - Senior Sister

Helen has been qualified as a nurse for many years now. She has a huge passion for caring for people and enjoy seeing the results that we can give through our work here in Laser and Dermatology. When she is not at work, she loves to explore the local area, read a good book and eat some good food.


 

 

Darling (DJ) Cacho - Staff Nurse

DJ is a registered nurse who has been working in dermatology since 2022. She recently finished her training programme in epilatory laser treatments in 2023 and is continuing work to broaden her laser armoury by doing a Diploma in Dermatology nursing. At home, she likes to read and learn about anything and everything under the sun, and enjoys food and coffee too much!


 

 

Samantha Archer - Healthcare Support Worker

Sam is our linchpin Healthcare Support Worker and does the groundwork in supporting the clinics for our plastic surgeons. She has worked in the Laser Clinic since 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys family life, the occasional cruise and the odd glass of wine.


 

 

Lisa Wild - Administrator

Lisa joined the Laser Clinic in October 2022 having previously been busy being a mum. She likes spending time at the beach with her family and still turns her hand to hairdressing at the weekends.


 

Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism.
