You may be reading this because your baby has died, you are making the difficult decision to end the pregnancy early due to complications. Whatever your circumstances, and however long ago this happened, we are so sorry you find yourself here. We want you to know that you are not alone and the Maternity and Neonatal staff are here to support you.
The death of a baby, either during pregnancy, birth or shortly after birth, can be devastating. Parents and families faced with this can be left feeling vulnerable, angry and confused.
At Salisbury Hospital we have a dedicated Bereavement Midwife, who can offer practical guidance, information and emotional support to parents and families depending on individual needs.
