The Positive Image, Motivation and Support (PIMS) 'in pregnancy' service was set up in 2016, commissioned by Wiltshire Council, and provides additional support to women living in Wiltshire to help them live healthy lives, make healthy choices & reduce inequalities. The PIMS service supports smokers who are receiving antenatal care as Salisbury Maternity Unit.
We are led by Specialist Midwife Bea Longthorp and a small group of specialist health advisors, which include Natalie Hughes & Ness Whitehouse.
If you feel you'd like some impartial, judgment free advice about your pregnancy, please feel free to talk to your community midwife who can refer you to our services. Alternatively, you can contact us directly by emailing shc-tr.MATERNITYPIMSTEAM@nhs.net
