The Community Midwifery Teams (CMT) provide a range of care to ensure the well-being of the mother and baby such as physical and emotional checks, screening and infant feeding support.
Your main point of contact during your pregnancy will be your Community Midwife. The CMT is usually the same for both your care during pregnancy (antenatal care) and care after birth (postnatal care). The majority of your appointments will be based at the relevant hub. For details of where the Community Midwife hubs are located, please see Community Midwife Care.
