Vicki Marston - Director of Maternity and Neonatal Services
As the Director of Midwifery and Neonatal Services I lead the Midwifery and Neonatal Teams here at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.
I have been a midwife for over 20 years and worked clinically across all areas of Maternity Services, as well as within a variety of Midwifery leadership roles over recent years. I am passionate about the provision of maternity care and ensuring that we are offering compassionate personalised care to women and birthing people.
Within my leadership role I strive to provide compassionate and supportive leadership to all staff enabling them to develop and be empowered to make changes, improvements and deliver the best care that they can for, and in collaboration with, our local population.
Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
