We have a dedicated team of Obstetricians who you may meet during your pregnancy journey with us. An Obstetrician is a doctor who specialises in women’s reproductive system, pregnancy and childbirth.
If your pregnancy is uncomplicated you may not need to see an Obstetrician, however, if you have existing medical conditions, complications (in this or a previous pregnancy) then you may be referred to a named Consultant Obstetrician. Your Obstetrician will be able to work with you and your midwife to agree a management plan that takes into consideration both your preferences and the current care recommendations.
