Pembroke Ward is a 10-bed ward with 3 bays that hold 2 patients at a time and four single side rooms with en-suite bathrooms. This ward is used for cancer patients who need to stay overnight rather than having treatment in the Day Unit.
The ward also has an acute assessment rooms to facilitate urgent review of patients on chemotherapy and a ‘quiet’ room for patients, family & friends.
Nursing lead for the ward and overall nursing lead for the haematology and nursing service is Senior Sister Claire Smith.

Visiting Times
10:00-12:00, 14:00-17:00 and 18:30-20:30. Patients can have two visitors at a time.
You should not visit if you have a cough, any respiratory symptoms or a temperature. You will also be asked to wear a face mask on the ward. This is to protect some of extremely clinically vulnerable patients.
