The ward also has an acute assessment rooms to facilitate urgent review of patients on chemotherapy and a ‘quiet’ room for patients, family & friends.

Visiting Times

10:00-12:00, 13:00-17:30 and 18:30-20:30. Patients can have two visitors at a time.

You should not visit if you have a cough, any respiratory symptoms or a temperature. You will be asked to self-declare if you have these symptoms on arrival. You will also be asked to wear a face mask on the ward. This is to protect some of extremely clinically vulnerable patients.

Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
