By volunteering at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust you will help provide practical support to staff and patients, making an important contribution to patient care.
Our highly committed army of volunteers can be found in all areas of the hospital. Volunteering allows people to give something back to their local community. All for as little as 2 hours a week. It is a great way to meet new people, make new friends and learn new skills.
We have over 270 volunteers across our services including Meet and Greeters and Ward Support and we welcome volunteers from all abilities, backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
Everyone has something unique to offer and we are committed to ensuring our volunteers have a rewarding experience and their contributions are recognised.
The minimum age to apply is 16 and we welcome applications throughout the year. If you would like to apply to become a volunteer, please complete our application form and return it by post to the address on the form or email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of NHS Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
