Help us to Help you
We encourage patients to visit their GP and to attend referral appointments at the hospital, particularly for cancer treatment. We have produced a video featuring Dr Alaaeldin Shablak, Consultant Medical Oncology, and Dr Lynne Macready, GP at Orchard Partnership and a Macmillan GP. Their message is to reassure you as a patient that it's safe to come to hospital and please do not hesitate to contact your GP if you have health concerns.
Keeping you safe: What to expect when you visit our hospital
As we restart some of our services we’ve put in place measures to keep patients, visitors and staff safe in our hospital. The changes include asking people to wear face coverings when at the hospital and ensuring social distancing is maintained across the site. Watch this video to see some of the changes we’ve made. Violet, who is receiving cancer treatment, says: "You're going to be very safe. You'll be well looked after. It's no different to what it was before." You can see her story here.
