Carers Together Wiltshire

Carers Together Wiltshire provides lots of guidance and can offer support for your caring role. Here at Salisbury Hospital we work in close partnership with Carers Together Wiltshire to ensure that hospital services are developed to support carers with their caring responsibility.

Carers Together Wiltshire is a partnership between Age UK Wiltshire, Community First, Alzheimer’s Support, Wiltshire Service Users Network, Citizens Advice Wiltshire and Wessex Community Action, under the umbrella, ‘Carers Together Wiltshire’. This partnership provides tailored support to the thousands of people across Wiltshire identified as a carer.

This charity runs free services for carers across Wiltshire including: 

• Advice and information on your caring role 

• Drop-in support groups and carer cafés 

• Carers Emergency Card 

• Carer activities and breaks 

• Training and practical skills workshops to help you care 

• Carer talk and support service 

• Carer Assessments 
• Working Carers 

Carers Assessments

Carers Together Wiltshire undertake Carers Assessments for those residing in the Wiltshire area. If you’re over 18 and provide regular unpaid care for someone, you’re entitled to a carer’s assessment. It doesn’t matter how much or what sort of care you provide, this assessment is
