Patient Stories

Patient stories are a way for the hospital so share and reflect on the experiences of our care and services provided from the patient’s perspective. They are a valuable and powerful tool for helping us to improve our services and celebrating our successes.

We’re always looking for new stories, and we want to hear about your personal experience (good and bad) so we can identify ways to continue to improve our services for patients, carers and staff.

The story you share will be audio recorded and then, either transcribed or, put together with images (photographs or drawings) to create a short video clip. There may also be an option to be filmed if you are happy with this.

You can remain as anonymous as you choose with your story.

Nothing will be shared with other people until you have reviewed the material and signed a consent form.

The story will not form part of your medical records and it will not affect any future care or engagement you or your family may have with us as your health care provider.

If you’d like more information on the process, contact a member of our Patient Experience Team
