Wessex Rehab is a specialist unit at Salisbury Hospital, with services for patients with upper limb injuries, lower limb injuries, poly-trauma and chronic pain. The multi-disciplinary team is made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Anaesthetists, Psychologists, Therapy Practitioners, Workshop Technical Instructors and Admin staff. Here at Wessex Rehab we have a wide range of specialist facilities, and professionals who are dedicated to optimising outcomes for patients related to their own specific goals.
By car: Enter hospital site at Entrance B. Park in car park 15, directly to the right.
By bus: Alight at The Green.
On entering Entrance B follow the road directly ahead until a zebra crossing. The Wessex Rehabilitation Centre is on the right of the crossing through the blue automatic door.
The Wessex Rehabilitation Centre provides intensive rehabilitation programmes for adults from Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Programmes can be either full time or part time depending on the patient's requirements. Hostel accommodation is available for patients travelling long distances.
The Centre specialises in treating patients following hand surgery or injury, chronic spinal pain, multiple trauma, acute and chronic upper limb trauma, burns and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
