Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust's Annual General Meeting has been rescheduled for 14th October, 3-5pm (arrival from 2:15pm for refreshments). Please join us for our first face-to-face AGM since 2019! The AGM will be held in the Lecture Theatre, Education Department on Level 5 at Salisbury District Hospital. Our A&E is currently under intense pressure. We encourage our local community to help reduce pressure on the hospital, and only attend A&E if they are experiencing a life threatening condition. Alternatives to A&E include the Salisbury Walk In Centre and NHS 111: https://111.nhs.uk/ and by phone. For minor illness local community pharmacists can provide advice and a range of over-the-counter medicine and treatments. We ask for your support as we work to improve the flow of patients through the hospital. If you have friends or family waiting to be discharged please try to respond quickly to calls about their ongoing care at home or in another setting.

The earlier nationwide issue with some IT systems that affected virtual/telephone appointments at our hospital have been resolved. All impacted patients will be contacted to rearrange the appointments. We apologise for the worry and inconvenience this situation has caused. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Due to a nationwide issue with some IT systems today Salisbury District Hospital is unable to hold any virtual/telephone appointments. The national fault means that at present we are unable to contact patients to cancel or rearrange. A national team is working on the fault and all impacted patients will be contacted once the system is operational again. Following the announcement from His Majesty that Her Late Majesty’s funeral, taking place on Monday 19th September will be a national Bank Holiday, Salisbury District Hospital is working on arrangements for our services and staff.
